Open to students, faculty, staff, and Community members, the Choral Union performs 3-4 concerts per year with the Drew University Festival Orchestra in the Concert Hall of the Dorothy Young Center for Arts.

Water Ruminations is a setting of six poems by the thirteenth-century poet Rumi, in English translations from the Persian by Coleman Barks, for double Choir and organ. The poetry sings of literal and spiritual connections between water and sky, a drop of water and human life, flowing water and love, drinking water and its container, the giddiness of spring and rolling seas, and the ocean's gifts and singing. The Embro area is well known for having very talented people and we have added to the Embro talent with people from Woodstock, Ingersoll, Thamesford, Cambridge, London. Our goal is to make a great choral sound by learning and working together. We sing both the classics and the fun songs but our chief goals are that we have FUN while being of service to our communities!!!  less
