From its beginning it has been affiliated with ZAMEK Culture Centre. Experienced and respected pedagogues-musicians look after the musical development of the girls and artistic program. the Choir is conducted and creatively inspired by its Artistic Director and Conductor Alicja Szeluga, an educator and choral music aficionado. the Vocal Coach Marzena Michałowska, and accompanying pianist Czesław Łynsza, as well as percussionist Beata Polak complete the musical team. the SKOWRONKI Girls Choir also has programs for younger groups. the ensemble is consists of 140 girls aged between 6 and 22. the singers of the choir are secondary school students as well as students from universities of Poznań. the group’s repertoire rediscovers and promotes works of various composers from different periods as well as performs pieces commissioned especially for the choir. the Choir has taken part in festivals and choral workshops in Wrocław, Poland (Wratislav...    less

Jazzva's repertoire c...  moreVocal group Jazzva from Slovenia was formed six years ago. the members, who sing in some of the best Choirs in the country, decided they want more musical freedom and creativity, wilder beats and louder sound of their own voices. Jazzva's repertoire consists of many different genres, pop, rock, classical music, jazz, arrangements of folk songs and many more. As experienced choir singers, they are used to singing with as well as without electronic amplification. they also try to incorporate some choreography to their own music, thus making it even more interesting and fun. At the moment, Jazzva is officially the best a-cappella group in Slovenia.
