Over the years it has taken in thousands of singing students and graduates of University of Warsaw and other Warsaw's universities. In 2011 the choir celebrated its 90th anniversary. The current conductor is Irina Bogdanovich. Choir's forte always were a cappella performances - claim acknowledged with numerous awards, most recenly - third place at the international Busan Choral Festival and Competition in 2014 and Grand Prix at the most prestigious Polish choir tournament Legnica Cantat in 2011. Apart from a cappella works, choir perfoms both vocal and orchestral masterpieces such as Verdi's and Mozart's Requiem, Stabat Mater by Dvorak, Poulenc and Szymanowski, Beethoven's 9th Symphony or even J. S. Bach's Mass in h-minor widely regarded as the greatest and most demanding choral piece of all time. We do a fun variety of world music, pop classics, and whatever else we feel like. We do one perf...  moreWe are a community choir taught mostly by ear. We do provide music for those who want it, but you are not required to audition or read music. All are welcome. We do a fun variety of world music, pop classics, and whatever else we feel like. We do one performance per session, and ask our audience to sing along too. We are a welcoming and warm and eclectic group.

Soneto de la Noche夜的詩篇 巴勃魯．聶魯達(Pablo Neruda, 1904-1973)，是智利的外交官詩人--內夫塔利．里卡多．雷耶斯．巴索阿爾托（Neftali Ricardo Reyes Basoalto）的筆名，1971年諾貝爾文學獎的得主。這首詩選自他1959年的作品「愛的14行詩一百首」(Cien Sonetos de Amor)的第89首，為一首纏綿的西班牙情歌。它的格式屬於歐洲14行詩，第一段4行，第二段4行，第三段3行 ，第四段3行，在第九行的地方開始轉折。 此曲的旋律衍生自一首安靜而熱情的智利民謠。不同於其他樂章，...    less
