The ensemble performs masterworks of the Choral-orchestral repertoire su... moreLehigh University Choral Union is a concert choir comprised of students, faculty, staff and community members and performs with the other ensembles of Lehigh University Choral Arts. The ensemble performs masterworks of the Choral-orchestral repertoire such as Beethoven's 9th Symphony and Orff's Carmina Burana, as well as opera choruses, a cappella repertoire, and works specially composed for them.
Performances include world-renowned guest soloists and musicians.
The ensemble is directed by internationally acclaimed conductor and composer Steven Sametz.
Lehigh University Choral Union has performed at New York's Carnegie Hall and has toured internationally in China, Portugal, Hawaii, Italy, Spain, Austria and Hungary.
No audition is required but the ability to read music is helpful.

Conspirare was founded in 1991 to present a Summer classical music festival in Austin, Texas. Since then, the organization has grown rapidly to become an internationally recognized, professional Choral organization that combines outstanding vocal artistry with innovative programming. Led by renowned founding artistic director Craig Hella Johnson, Conspirare is comprised of two adult ensembles and two youth choirs. The five-time Grammy-nominated chamber choir Conspirare, with extraordinarily talented singers from around the country, is presented in an annual concert series in Austin and other Texas communities, tours in the U.S. and abroad, and records on the Harmonia Mundi label. provided a great name for the group. Eliza’s Toyes was born, and existed every Summer in Madison, Wisconsin.
In 2008, a fair number of singers who were in Eliza's Toyes are living in Madison once again. Thus we gather, outside of the Festival, for the joy of music making. It is our pleasure to continue sharing this wonderful body of music with you for the second year! less

Modern Belarusian music takes a large part of our repertoire, thanks to that we are happy to open Belarus to other nations.
