This auditioned choir has 150 adult mixed voices and 300 youth mixed voices rehearsing weekly to Bring various masterworks, original pieces, collaborations and new arrangeMents to the ears of many. Doug Mears is the Artistic Director with Patrick Vaughn as Youth Director. Youth Choruses have two convenient campuses with the professional support of Caroline Crocker and Bonny Tynch and Youth Chorus Directors. Additionally, full tiMe accompanists and music educators Meet the rehearsal and music education portions of this semi-professional chorus. The choir delights in introducing new songs that are connected by their unique choral sound, rather than from a particular genre and it is this wide appeal and their sense of fun that has Meant the group is in constant demand and continually attracts new Members. Even in its early days the choir never quite conforMed to the accepted norms of what should be included in their repertoire.
