The Choral Project, founded by Artistic Director Daniel Hughes in 1996, has developed an outstanding reputation for performing High-level choral literature and bridging the gap between text and music, singer and spectator. Our Vision is "to heal our world through music and words". Our music is available on iTunes and at www.choralproject.org

The Singers are directed by Dr Simon Lindley, Music Director since the choir's foundation in 1977. The plainchant verses are sung by soprano Sarah Kelly, and the solo quartet (positioned remotely from the main choir) comprises soprano Julie Kilburn, alto Lucy Appleyard, tenor Jonathan Morrish and bass Quentin Brown. More information about St Peter's Singers, including details of the choir's 2010-11 programme of recitals, concerts and services, may be found on our website www.stpeters-Singers.org.uk and on our Facebook Group page 'St Peter's Singers of L...    less

We specialise in performing hit songs mainly from the 1980s as you've never heard them before. Why? Because the majority of our songs are arranged specially for us by our ridiculously talented in house music team. We perform all over London in clubs and pubs and can be relied upon to bring a sparkle to any occasion, as Musical Director Kat Yates explains: "In KiS (as we're known to our friends) we've really put the emphasis on fun - and our audiences relate to this. As a result we've performed at festivals, events and celebrations all over London and people always ask us back for more. Plus we sing all your favourite 80s songs - what more could you want ?"  less

Verse:Help us, O God of our salvation, and for the honour [glory] of thy name deliver us.  Psalm, 78, Verse 9a This noble and deeply-felt penitential motet proper to the first day [Ash Wednesday] and the first Sunday [Quadragesima] of the Lenten season is one of the very finest such works from the golden age of English polyphonic music. It comes from the Cantiones Sacra...    less
