Founded in May 2021 the group is composed of young adults and professionals who are residents of the city. Anchored in the belief of uplifting the appreciation of choral singing and music in the community, it focuses in creating an environment of musical connoisseurship and in becoming ambassadors of music from the city to the world. A wide array of repertoire includes classic to modern among others. It seeks to promote the appreciation of chorale music and chorale singing in Malabon City. The group commits at serving God, Country, and Community. Since forming in November of 2010, The Marion Consort have performed in Chicago, Milwaukee, and Arlington Heights. This past August, they had the privilege of performing at the Chicago Cultural Center as part of the Classical Music Mondays series. Their mission is to present performances for various audiences with music by well known composers, while also exploring the works of lesser known composers.
