Childcare is always difficult and expensive. With MumSing, you can bring your children with you. Just make sure they have their favourite toy and snacks. Our MumSing sessions are not only during the day. We also have evening sessions as well

This 65 to 70 member, mixed-voice ensemble sings for services in Christ Chapel, for Christmas in Christ Chapel, an annual spring tour, and at special College events. Major city tour destinations have included San Antonio, St. Louis, Kansas City, Chicago, Milwaukee, Lincoln, and Omaha. Membership is by audition. Conducted by Bradon Dean.

When Odwa Mvunge return to his birth community in 2012, after completing his music education studies at Nelson Mandela University, not much has changed. There still was no place in Zolani for the youth to express themselves in cultural activities that was not offered at school nor in the community. After school the youth would loiter around without direction. This lead to the formation of the Zolani Youth choir. The basic idea and purpose of the Choir is to equip youth of our community with basic music skills. The Choir consists of 25 scholars from different schools who are between the ages of 12 and 26 years. These scholars have no professional training or background in formal music, but have proven to have a passion and love for the art. Not sure of the source, but possibly an arrangement of a song written by the Williams Brothers, a traditional black gospel music group from Jackson, Mississippi formed in 1960. This is a slowed down version with the word 'God' replaced with 'love'.   This concert was the culmination of a six-week project which creates a choir from scratch for one night only. Each winter and summer, Chris Rowbury gathers a random bunch of singers from in and around Ipswich. There are no auditions and all songs are taught and learnt by ear. Usually eight songs are learnt in six two-hour sessions and in the winter are performed at St. Peters by the Waterfront, Ipswich. http://chrisrowbury.com  less
