We rehearsed for most of The day in ... moreOn 24th November 2012 we brought togeTher 98 singers and four Choral directors for our most ambitious project to date: a Choral workshop on Thomas Tallis' monumental 40-part motet, 'Spem in Alium', composed in 1570.
We rehearsed for most of The day in two-Choir sections, with our four Choral directors, Scott Inglis-Kidger, Sarah Tenant-Flowers, Riccardo Bonci and Jonny Davies. After lunch we began to put The sections togeTher. At 4pm we brought all 8 Choirs togeTher and Scott Inglis-Kidger led a most thrilling final performance.

We aim to give two or three Concerts each year, plus a Christmas Concert of music and readings. We are based in The village of Rolleston-on-Dove near Burton-upon-Trent, and draw our members – numbering around 50 at present - from a wide area of East Staffordshire and South Derbyshire.
