We strive to encourage a high level of self-worth, positive self-esteem, and accomplishment. Our goal is to use music as the avenue to encourage students to become lifelong patrons of the arts. Valentine Singers have gained a reputation for high quality performances with a welcoming atmosphere, both locally and further afield. Our repertoire embraces operatic and lighter music alongside classical choral works, with orchestra, from Bach to Berns...  moreValentine Singers have gained a reputation for high quality performances with a welcoming atmosphere, both locally and further afield. Our repertoire embraces operatic and lighter music alongside classical choral works, with orchestra, from Bach to Bernstein, and a wide range of a cappella repertoire, which we have also toured abroad. Our second CD was released in November 2009. A friendly choir of 60-70 singers, we give four main local concerts a year and enjoy touring. Since 2002, our concert tours have included Lake Garda, Venice, Umbria, Tuscany, Kraków, Amiens and Ghent. In the UK we have performed at the London Coliseum (2006), Ely Cathedral (2007), the Southbank Centre (2010) and Winchester Cathedral (2011).  less

We started in small number of members until it grew bigger and bigger. During those times we were known to be a very good chorale group in our Diocese. It was the time where or group shined the most. Like other groups, our group also had its flop. Some of us are already busy studying in college after we graduated high School. That's why we need to find new members. We suffered from having lack of commitment of other members, and it gave us a difficult time to find new members. But our Maestro never gave up. He continued to build the group. We have a lot of plans to build again and let this group shine again with its brightest light. We are still sharing our music because welove this group and the passion to serve Christ through music is burning within our hearts.  less
