The Barberettes are always looking for new members and would love to welcome you to visit us in rehearsal. Kornelsen, the Denver Pro Chorale is comprised of thirty-six musicians based in the Denver Metropolitan area. The Denver Pro Chorale specializes in singing diverse a Cappella choral repertoire including contemporary works from around the world. The Denver Pro Chorale recently concluded its second season with its first independent concert to a sold out audience at Denver’s Church of the Ascension. Earlier this year, the Denver Pro Chorale was invited to sing at the Colorado Music Educator’s Association convention in Colorado Springs. Moving into its third season, the Denver Pro Chorale is looking forward to collaborating with the Metropolitan State University and St. Martin’s Chamber Choir in joint concerts in addition to a Christmas concert and a concert at Denver’s Church of the Ascension in the spring of 2015. We recommend listening on a smartphone with headphones via the YouTube app! Then the immersive impressions are the best :) After the last premiere of the You Raise Me Up recording, the Academic Choir of the Gdańsk University of Technology worked intensively on the next choral song. This time we went a step further – we created a truly virtual Choir in the virtual cathedral. The recording was made in 360° technology, which means that we can listen and watch both sound and image in the full sphere. To capture the full effect, it's best to listen to this presentation in headphones on your smartphone. You can then feel like inside the old temple surrounded by sound from everywhere.  less
