En la actualidad sus componentes vienen desde distintos centros escolares, institutos y facultades. En sus ya 18 años de historia la EMA ha participado en multitud de concursos, encuentros y congresos con coros de todo el mundo y ha sido invitada a colaborar en galas y proyectos benéficos. Tuvieron especial relevancia los encuentros nacionales en Guadix (Granada), Toledo, Oviedo y Murcia, así como los congresos internacionales en Granada, Estocolmo, Roma y París. Season's highlights include community concerts, domestic and international performance tours, collaborations with artists and arts organizations, and recording. MUSYCA singers collaborated with composers Alan Silvestri and Glen Ballard, recording artists DJ Mustard, Alexander Palmer, Sia Furler and Luke Christopher. It is open to all no matter what musical background, if any you may have. We "sing for the the sheer joy of it" and do local concerts. Recently we have sung at a large church inter-denominational christmas gathering and the highlight of the year to sing at a wedding at the request of the Bride and Groom.

The song is there described as "a comic song" written and composed by James Yorkston (of Scotland) and arranged by Edmund Forman. Because it is noted as printed with permission of an Edinburgh firm, there was clearly an earlier version. Although the song is the unofficial anthem of Dublin and generally regarded as Irish, it was, in fact, written by a Scotsman. This outdoor performance was the culmination of a six-week project which creates a choir from scratch for one Night only. Each winter and summer, Chris Rowbury gathers a random bunch of singers from in and around Ipswich. There are no auditions and all songs are taught and learnt by ear. I thank them for their loyalty to our fans and their fellow choir members, and for their diligence in preparing individual performances to such a demanding degree of musicianship. We all share an understanding of how important it is right now to share the joy of song with the world.
