Lusardi Girelli. Since its creation, the GU Choir has offered multiple programmes, concerts and workshops across Goa and India, receiving excellent commentaries from audience and press alike. During the last three years, the Choir has performed at several important venues such as the Ketevan World Sacred Music Festival and the Monte Festival in Old Goa, amongst others. The Choir has collaborated with renowned artistes from India, Asia, Europe and America, such as the Cappella della Luce Ensemble (Spain), St Ephraim Choir (Hungary), Indo Portuguese Ensemble (Portugal-India), Vandalia and the Seville Chamber Choir (Spain), the Bombay Chamber Orchestra (India) and soloists like Rocío de Frutos (Spain), Leo Rossi (Argentina), Mirjiam Munzel (Germany), Karl Luchtmayer (UK) and Sonia Shirsat (India). Paralia is a touristic seaside village situated on the west coast of the Thermaic Gulf a... moreThe International Choir festival "Music & Sea" takes place annually in the middle of September in the beautiful village of Paralia, Greece. Paralia is a touristic seaside village situated on the west coast of the Thermaic Gulf and in the shadow of Olympus.
The Festival has two parts: competitive and non-competitive. However, the character and the main concept of both parts is joining Music, vacation, friendship and fun. The idea of the Festival is to bring the Music closer to the people and to present the Music on the streets and the squares of Paralia, Olympic Beach and Katerini. All Choir ensembles, regardless of the members’ gender and age can apply for participation at the Festival.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
All Choir ensembles may join one part of the Festival: Competitive or Non-competitive.

The Choir’s work was interrupted for several years during its members’ academic education, as well as during their partic... moreThe Ainur Chamber Choir was originally founded in 1991, at a time when a main choral movement was taking place in the Canary Islands. The Choir’s work was interrupted for several years during its members’ academic education, as well as during their participation in different Musical projects. The present line-up has been steady since 2006. Their repertoire offers a variety of styles of great difficulty and chromatic richness, and tries to take advantage of the cultural and geographic circumstances which make of the Canary Islands a multicultural place.
A remarkable feature of the group is their willingness to innovate within the choral Music.
Their versatility and the variety of repertoire they face can be seen in the different projects they have taken part in: short operas, official or private events, festivals, and monographic concerts on different subjects. A few instances of the Choir’s late activity are the following:

The Stairwell Carollers, an a cappella group formed in 1977 by director Pierre Massie, has earned the distinction of being ranked amongst the best of Ontario Choirs. The group took first place in both the 2010 and 2013 Ontario Music Festival Association provincial competition.
This non-profit organization raises funds for local charities through concert, CD and cookbook sales.

Directed for more than ten years by Michael Bawtree, its repertoire spans the Renaissance to the pres... moreWith a current membership of around 30 singers, Glasgow Chamber Choir was founded in 1994 and has developed into one of Scotland’s finest amateur Choirs. Directed for more than ten years by Michael Bawtree, its repertoire spans the Renaissance to the present day and has included the Scottish premieres of works by James Whitbourn, Hans Gál, Jan Dismas Zelenka, Richard Bush and Judith Bingham.
The Choir performs regularly in Glasgow and central Scotland, and has toured to France, Holland and Sweden, where it has formed links with other Choirs.
Recent BBC radio engagements have included William Walton’s Henry V Suite with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, Sunday Worship live and Bryan Burnett’s ‘Get it On’ show live on BBC Radio Scotland. The Choir features regularly in Raymond Gubbay’s Christmas Festival in the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall. less
