At the heart of EVOKX, our singers share a passion to inspire our audiences with choral Music that resonates with the soul, and instill empathy and charity through community engagement and choral performance. We stand strong in our pursuit for artistic excellence, and strive to nurture our singers’ love of choral Music by giving them an avenue to further pursue their interest in choral singing. HomeChoir is a new way of looking at learning Music. You don’t need to be able to sing well or at all to take part – the teaching is one-way. You watch and sing along with Ben if you can, and are invited to take part in the live text chat with everyone else around the world. There is a vibrant and friendly social community among the Choir. If you can’t join in live, then you can enjoy the Music-making at any time as all our sessions are recorded and available for you to watch when you can, as often as you like. You don’t need to be able to read Music, and where scores are needed, Ben will display them on screen to help you learn. Every year Dziesmuvara takes part in international or national choral competitions. Since 2013 the Choir has travelled to Poland, Lithuania, France and Czech Republic and all around Latvia. Dziesmuvara also participates in the Latvian Song Celebration Festivals and occasionally teams up with fellow university and youth Choirs to sing together in concerts. The more, the merrier!

They are every man in the street but with one thing in common,they love to sing and entertain.The Choir is renowned for there entertainment value as well as there singing. No venue is too small or too big.The Choir regularly sings for charitable organisations and has over the years raised several thousands of pounds. Musical Director Judith Pinguey prides herself on the varied Music the Choir sings and has a very progressive outlook on MVC Music and likes to challange the pre concieved image of a male voice Choir.  less
