Our mission is to create a Boychoir that over time will become one of the finest in the country. The United States doesn't have the history of boy choirs that Many European countries do but we can accomplish great things by educating boys in the art of singing and performing the finest music in the boy choir tradition. Teaching young boys the commitment and work necessary to accomplish a goal develops character, discipline, leadership, global awareness, and a strong commitment to excellence. The Fortis Boy Choir can and will accomplish these goals. We will help boys to feel good about what they can be and take these lessons with them into their future families and businesses.  less

Integrates more than twenty young people between fourteen and eighteen years of age who have, in Music, a common denominator. Intends to continue developing their vocal talent, Working a varied repertoire in multiple languages, styles, and four mixed voices (SATB) a cappella or in collaboration with instrumental ensembles. Has the support of the Instituto Politecnico de Castelo Branco, through the provision of space for rehearsals, on Escola Superior de Artes Aplicadas de Castelo Branco (ESART). Fifteen days after its formation, the band was invited to participate in the IX Spring Concert (Covilha), with the theme "East and West", taking place on March 15, 2015. He accepted with great pleasure and it turned out a great way for bringing a greater responsibility to the original project.  less
