This award-winning ensemble achieves high performance standards by drawing on the rich musical heritage of the region. Many Cantorum singers have Solo careers and all have sung with top collegiate ensembles. A number have alSo sung as members of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, Utah Chamber Artists, and Salt Lake Vocal Artists. in addition, Cantorum is proud to have a high representation of talented choral educators.
the group won both of its categories at the 2016 interkultur competition and received special commendation for their performance of Dale Warland and Hugo Distler.
Cantorum is under the direction of Steven Durtschi, a graduate of Brigham Young University and Utah State University.

he Marion ConSort, under the artistic direction of Amy Bearden, is an a cappella ensemble specializing in the choral music of the Middle Ages, Renaissance, and Baroque periods. Since forming in November of 2010, the Marion ConSort have performed in Chicago, Milwaukee, and Arlington Heights. This past August, they had the privilege of performing at the Chicago Cultural Center as part of the Classical Music Mondays series. their mission is to present performances for various audiences with music by well known composers, while alSo exploring the works of lesser known composers. the Marion ConSort can divide into duos, trios, octets, etc. for a well-rounded and blended performance.
