The group was founded in 2001 in Leioa's the Music School by Basilio Astulez, its current conductor. Kantika's repertorie has always balanced Folk, sacrum and contemporary music. Due to the projects such as operas, international tours and TV concerts the choir enjoys a fine Popularity.

Our Easter-and Christmas programs are very Popular. We also present a prais...  moreThe Alberton mens' choir was founded by Bennie Bierman in 1992. Since 2018 Dr. Paul Potgieter is the conductor. We perform at a variety of functions, often during church services. Our Easter-and Christmas programs are very Popular. We also present a praise service ("Lofdiens") as church service. Our "soiree choralis" is another enjoyable event that we host. This is an ideal fundraiser for a church or other organisation.  

This arrangement for 6 part choir of the old Devon bell ringing Song was composed and performed by David W Solomons - with various voices representing the bells as the Song progresses

Concert at St Margarets, Silverstream, Upper Hutt 19 May 2013. This is our favourite Song because we get to do solo lines and we totally love The Muppets..and we think Bret McKenzie also a Kiwi is pretty cool!
