It is a registered charity centred around the Kenfig Hill Community of South Wales, UK. We also have two associated youth Choirs 'Da Capo' and 'Crescendo'. The Choir's history stretches back to 1896, with a few gaps. The latest incarnation was re-founded in 1972.

Lee Chong M...  moreJakarta Festival Chorus (JFC) was initially the Chamber Choir founded by Indra Lazuardi; whose members were the sacred music lovers of Gereja Santapan Rohani Indonesia, Jakarta (The Bread of Life Church of Indonesia). Since the beginning, Rev. Lee Chong Min – a reverend as well as a professor of the School of Church Music, Singapore Bible College – has been appointed to be the Choir master of the Chamber Choir. In 1997, the Choir name was changed to Jakarta Festival Chorus in order to reach out more participants from evangelical churches in Jakarta. Jakarta Festival Chorus is currently under the Music Department of the Communion of Chinese Churches in Indonesia (PGTI). The members now are choristers and sacred music lovers from different churches in Jakarta. Siyabonga Dlamini and Sibusiso Sithole, with the primary objective (/s) of rehearsing and performing choral music, providing musical services to the Community when the need arises, to provide a musical home for all interested in the greater Pretoria and Johannesburg area and to promote the standard of choral music. Secondarily Tswelopele aims to educate its members in the singing of all types of choral music, arrange concerts for the general public to attend, perform choral works with other Choirs and participate in various competitions and music festivals in the Community. The Choir currently consists of 48 choristers. The Choir being fairly young went to its first (TCMA) competition on October 18th 2015, winning first place in the development section. The Choir has since went on to perform at Computeshare and Standard Bank respectively. Tswelopele Chorus attended its first GACMA competition on May 29th 2016 and placed 6TH in the standard category.
