Moses Hogan) is sung by the Central Washington University Chamber choir (Gary Weidenaar, director) at the Santa María de León Cathedral in Léon, Spain. TEXT: Abide with me; fast falls the eventide; the darkness deepens; Lord with me abide. When other helpers fail and comforts flee, Help of the helpless, O abide with me. I need Thy presence every passing hour. What but Thy grace can foil the tempter's power? Who, like Thyself, my guide and stay can be? Through cloud and sunshine, Lord, abide with me. O Thou who changest not, abide with me. In life, in death, O Lord, abide with me. Amen. ABOUT the choir: Since 2009, the CWU Chamber choir has held annual recording sessions to create videos specifically designed for YouTube. All are under the baton of Dr. Gary A. Weidenaar, who has been the director of the choir since 2006. As of Fall, 2016; there are 29 videos.
