Zur Zeit bestehen die CHORKIDS ILLERTISSEN aus 56 Sängerinnen und Sängern im Alter von 11 bis 16 Jahren. Mit viel Freude und Engagement proben diese Kinder bzw. Jugendlichen einmal in der Woche je nach Stimmgruppe zwei bis vier Stunden. Fünfmal im Jahr gibt es Intensiv-Probensamstage und einmal im Jahr Intensiv-Probentage im Allgäu. Der Chor hat es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht, anspruchsvolle Chorliteratur verschiedener Stilepochen zu interpretieren. Dabei möchte er sich bewusst von vielen Klischees wenig kultivierten, schulchormäßigen Singens distanzieren und ist bei der Programmgestaltung darauf bedacht, dies auch nach außen hin sichtbar und hörbar zu machen. „Popularmusik“ ist Bestandteil, jedoch auf keinen Fall substanzieller Grundsatz der musikalischen Arbeit. The Major Minors Children's Choir was formed in February 2012 by Musical Director Joanne Roelofs and Karen Boyce as a one off children's choir of unauditioned primary School aged children which was part of a choral programme with the Hutt Valley Singers. ...  moreThe Major Minors Children's Choir was formed in February 2012 by Musical Director Joanne Roelofs and Karen Boyce as a one off children's choir of unauditioned primary School aged children which was part of a choral programme with the Hutt Valley Singers. The choir was such a success and those involved enjoyed it so much that it was decided to continue. The Choir is a training Choir with the children having opportunities to sing or speak solo lines and learn harmonies. Current members are aged between 4 and 12. The Harmonic Minors is the Major Minors Children's Choir's extension group. This is an auditioned choir for older children and teens.  less

When founding member Rick Rosen left California in mid-2003 to move back to Bucks County, the original group of west coast singers went on hiatus. In its second life, and with the blessings of the founding Californians, Cordus Mundi was reborn in early 2005 in Bucks County. Now with fifteen voices, the newest incarnation of Cordus Mundi has the flexibility and versatility to expand the group’s musical exploration into new areas - the repertoire is varied and eclectic, and the group includes two composers and several arrangers. Cordus Mundi draws its repertoire from a wide range of composers and styles, from Dunstable to Duruflé, from Byrd to Bernstein, from Palestrina to Paranjoti, from Brahms to the Beatles, and from Jacob Handl to Edie Hill. Many of our singers are School music teachers and voice teachers. We perform a wide variety of music from classical and broadway to pop and vocal jazz. The choir was founded in 2011 by friends who have spent their lives teaching others to perform, but whom rarely get the chance to sing anymore. We are directed by Jason Krigas and accompanied by Kathryn Polyack.
