Very much (but not exclusively) in the barbershop stlye. Even though we have only been going a few months, our numbers have been increasing weekly as more and more people are seduced by the magical sound of ringing chords. We aim to be a serious performing chorus in due course. We have had a very successful 2012 and hope for even better in 2013 where we have a whole host of exciting things planned. Stay tuned! We'd very much be interested in meeting/collaborating with other Choirs in our area. We are on Facebook so have a little look and maybe come and sing a few baas with us!  less

We are a mixed-voice Choir of around 30 singers, performing a wide variety of secular and sacred "classical"; choral music. We mainly sing a cappella, and tend to focus on lesser-known older works, and modern repertoire, often from living composers. However, this is by no means exclusive! The Choir sings three main concerts per year, with a charity carol concert just before Christmas. We are also a sociable bunch, with regular social events and a number of 'spin-off' groups.  less

Today it is often sung at Georgian weddings in honour of the bride. You are a vineyard Just blossoming, Young and good, Springing up in Eden. A fragrant poplar, Growing in Paradise. May God adorn you, None is more worthy of praise. You yourself, Are the sun brilliantly shining.
