The choir currently has one or two vacancies for singers in some voice parts, so if you are aged 18 or over, are resident in Scotland, have experience in church choral singing, and would like to be considered for an audition or would just like more information, please contact the administrator, whose details are on our website.  less

TAIKA practices in The Hagu...  moreTAIKA (magic, charm, hex and conjuration) Choir was founded in 2012 by its conductor master of music Karla-Maria Toiviainen. In a short time the choir has achieved a valuable role in the Finnish community in The Netherlands. TAIKA practices in The Hague. The choir has a wide repertoire, ranging from folk to pop, with an emphasis on Finnish female choral music. However, the choir enthusiastically performs songs from all around the world. The choir performs in a wide range of events hosted by businesses and organisations. In the spring of 2015 the choir was performing for the first time abroad - in Finland. Summer 2017 choir was in Verona, Italy, taking a part of an international choir festival.  less

Y así, creando armonías, una treintena de voces femeninas nos unimos para poder hacer realidad aquello que más queremos, música. Con orígenes musicales distintos, como son el Coro de la Politécnica y el Coro de Jóvenes de la Comunidad de Madrid, buscamos cobijo bajo la rigurosa y expresiva mano de nuestro maestro, José de Felipe, que siempre nos ha guiado ya fuese desde nuestro nacimiento o desarrollo musical.
