The choir, which began at Brigham Young University as an early music ensemble, transformed into one of the premier non-collegiate chamber groups in the Western United States. This award-winning ensemble achieves high performance standards by drawing on the rich musical heritage of the region. Many Cantorum singers have solo careers and all have sung with top collegiate ensembles. A number have also sung as members of The Mormon Tabernacle Choir, Utah Chamber Artists, and Salt Lake Vocal Artists. In addition, Cantorum is proud to have a high representation of talented choral educators. The group won both of its categories at the 2016 Interkultur competition and received special commendation for their performance of Dale Warland and Hugo Distler. Mixed Choir Dziesmuvara consists of approx 40 singers of ages between 18 and 35. Every year Dziesmuvara takes part in international or national choral competitions. Since 2013 the choir has travelled to Poland, Lithuania, France and Czech Republic and al...  moreMixed Choir Dziesmuvara consists of approx 40 singers of ages between 18 and 35. Every year Dziesmuvara takes part in international or national choral competitions. Since 2013 the choir has travelled to Poland, Lithuania, France and Czech Republic and all around Latvia. Dziesmuvara also participates in the Latvian Song Celebration festivals and occasionally teams up with fellow University and youth choirs to sing together in concerts. The more, the merrier!

En 2010 obtuvo el diploma de Bronce en la Octava Competencia Internacional de Coros de Elsenfeld, Alemania. Director: Andrés Aciar The Choir of the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters - Buenos Aires University- is a grouping conformed by both students of this institution of higher education and members of the community. Their members perform this activity in vocational fashion and the great majority of them has main occupations and studies that are not related to musical activity.
