The Choir sings an eclectic mix of pop classics, show songs, spirituals and contemporary pieces. We love what we do and we also love to use our singing to contribute to the community of Southend by performing regularly within the town and by raising money for local charities. We have represented Southend further afield with performances at Dublin's Guinness Storehouse and Union Chapel, London.

Atlantic Voices is an amateur Choir starting its tenth season with a repertoire consisting mainly of Newfoundland, Maritime, and Celtic songs and music. The goals of the Choir are: to represent and showcase Newfoundland and Maritime music and culture in the Ottawa area; to provide its members with the opportunity to learn, rehearse, and perform choral compositions; and to offer free of charge, musical entertainment to residents of retirement homes, hospitals etc., via in situ community concerts. Members of Atlantic Voices include singers from the provinces of Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Ontario. Singers and musicians of all backgrounds are invited to join us and explore songs and music from both sides of the Atlantic.  less

Their diverse repertoire ranges from Mozart and Rutt...  moreAmicantus Choir is a group of good friends and very talented musicians based in Stratford Upon Avon, Warwickshire under the leadership of one of the Midlands leading Musical Directors, Miss Maddy Evans. Their diverse repertoire ranges from Mozart and Rutter to Take That and Snow Patrol with a good dose of musicals and Disney thrown in for good measure. The seeds of the Choir were first planted back in mid-2012 when Maddy was asked to set up a Choir to perform a small concert at her local church near to Stratford Upon Avon. The Choir are all good friends and met in a variety of ways from other Choirs, bands and performing arts groups. Since their first concert, they have grown to become one of the best and most revered Choirs in the Midlands and have performed at countless venues from the Birmingham German Christmas Markets to Shakespeare’s Birthday Celebrations in Stratford Upon Avon to their very first concert in Warwick in June 2013. We began rehearsals in the fall of 2018 for a holiday show that we performed at a neighborhood block party, and special guest JoAnne Worley came and performed with us. Everyone had such a good time, we decided to continue on the following spring. If it catches on, we hope to get our nonprofit status.

Paul Caruana in 1974 as a...  moreThe Jubilate Deo Choir is the resident Choir at the parish church of Naxxar (Malta) and is mainly responsible to animate the liturgy of the principal feasts of the Catholic Church celebrated in this parish. It was founded by Rev. Paul Caruana in 1974 as a girls’ Choir and sang for the first time at Christmas that same year. In the following months male voices were added and the enlarged Choir sang for the first time in the Good Friday celebrations of 1975. Eventually adult female voices joined in, establishing an SATB Choir. The first big occasion for the Choir came in 1980, performing works by the compatriot prolific composer of sacred music Joseph Fenech (1917-2010). The Jubilate Deo Choir has since performed at the Teatru Manoel on many occasions, took part in the BBC production “Songs of Praise” that was televised worldwide and in 1990 sang during the visit to Malta of Pope John Paul II. In the World Choir Championships which was held in Graz, Austria between 10th-17th July 2011, Boğaziçi Jazz Choir became the 'WORLD CHAMPION' in Contemporary Music and Folklore categories, and got the 'second prize' in Mixed Choirs category. Also winning ...  moreIn the World Choir Championships which was held in Graz, Austria between 10th-17th July 2011, Boğaziçi Jazz Choir became the 'WORLD CHAMPION' in Contemporary Music and Folklore categories, and got the 'second prize' in Mixed Choirs category. Also winning 2 more gold medals in 'Grand Prix of Choral Music' the champions competed in, the Choir has come back to Turkey with a total of 5 gold medals.
