However it does not exempt the work of works accompanied by instrumental ensemble, piano, etc. This group's training base is four singers, two of them music professionals, malleable according to the repertoire, joining more singers if so required. Being a recent ensemble, it premiered in the March 2015 concert with the Lenten Concert (Solidarity Concert in favor of Maria Lara) in the Chapel of Covão do Coelho and the Church of Minde, with works by T.L de Victoria, A. Caldara, A. Scarlatti, J.S. Bach, G. He conducts this performance of his work "The Annunciation", scored for solo soprano and unaccompanied Chorus. The work depicts the revelation to the Virgin Mary by the Angel Gabriel that she will conceive a son to be the saviour of humankind. The Giovanni Consort is a chamber vocal ensemble based in Perth, Western Australia. The group performs a wide range of choral music from medieval to modern times and is renowned for its exquisite musicianship and attention to detail. This video was recorded at their December 2012 concert, "Hodie Christus" in the Dining Hall of St. George's College at the University of Western Australia.
