We are a friendly choir of all ages, who go on overseas tours every two to three years. We meet on Wednesday evenings from 7.15 to 9.30pm during term time.

We are currently around 50 ambitious amateur Singers between 18 and 50 that share their love for choir music. Our biggest success was winning the German National Choir Competition in 2010 in the category Jazz vocal et cetera - a capella.

In addition we are frequently asked to Sing at local events, weddings and celebrations. The Society was started in 1960, under our founder Gerald Brown, and we are still going strong. We are now led by James Gallagher, who has been working with us since 2009. We invite local young soloists and professionals to perform with us. Our repertoire ranges from 16th Century works to those of living composers and covers both major serious and popular works.
