We were founded by mUsician Shona Brown in 2009 with 3 choirs and Now are 4 community choirs across Bearsden and Lanarkshire with around 180 members. We rehearse weekly and Sing a variety of pop, rock, folk, reggae and gospel.

SoundRoutes Singers have performed to sellout audiences at venues across The local region and in 2012 recorded our debut EP Changing Key. The groundbreaking project was in conjunction with Addiewell Prison Choir, also run by Shona Brown, Britain's first prison choir and over £3000 was raised for Shelter Scotland. Along with entertaining our local audience KCC competes in The Mid Atlantic District of The Barbershop Harmony Society and is a consistent champion in our Division. KCC also promotes quartet Singing as well as a cappella Singing among The youth in our region.

Soon, however, The weekly choir rehearsals became not only a meeting place, but also a refuge for those looking for a non-threatening and empowering environment. Over The years, The Choir has grown to include members of all races and Christian denominations, and celebrates not only The diversity of its members, but also that of its audiences.
UTGC has burst onto The international scene, while continuing to serve The greater Toronto community in local concerts and university events held throughout The year, like Their community Christmas concert, and May's Gospelfest.
