Kitka's program features traditional and contemporary Balkan, Slavic, and Caucasian (Georgian and Armenian) repertoire sung in more than twelve languages.

Choir members have included opera singers, circus stage managers and women whose boldest performances have been behind a shower curtain. The choir’s musical director, Elaine Chan, is an acclaimed composer and a musical theatre icon in Singapore. She has played a prominent role in guiding the choir in singing its eclectic repertoire of pop, Broadway numbers, classical Choral, and even African chants and gypsy wedding songs. nůmama has its beginnings as a mother and baby group in 2009, and has since grown into a choir for all women.
