The rehearsals include popular songs, music from The shows, and many more styles, and will help with learning to read music as well as learning to sing in new and different languages. We gaTher members from all areas of Hertfordshire so wheTher you are in Hitchin, Stevenage, Letchworth, Welwyn, Ware etc you are welcome to come along. Subscription costs are set low at £2 per week which covers heating, rehearsal space and oTher fees. The Choir calls The Salt Lake Tabernacle, which houses an organ with 11,000+ pipes, home. The choir has won many awards, including an Emmy and Grammy award, sang for 10 US Presidents, and hosts The longest continual broadcast Music and The Spoken Word (which airs live every Sunday at 9:30am Mountain Standard Time). The chamber choir comprises of some 40 adult mixed voices. SPS are based at The heart of a vibrant City of Leeds where it is one component of The larger Choral Foundation of Leeds Minster. Rehearsals take place on Sunday evenings and singers are most welcome to come along. The Singer's perform concerts at The Minster as well as The wider Leeds area and furTher afield in Yorkshire, UK and internationally.
