Our repertoire spans the centuries, from the Renaissance to the 21st Century. Our particular speciality is folk music from all over the globe. Cantóirí sings each song in the original language. We are lucky as we have been able to draw on the language skills of choir members from around the world. Cantóirí perform regularly in Dublin and also enjOy taking part in Choral competitions around the country.

Not sure of the source, but possibly an arrangement of a song written by the Williams Brothers, a traditional black gospel music group from Jackson, Mississippi formed in 1960. This is a slowed down version with the word 'God' replaced with 'love'.   This concert was the culmination of a six-week project which creates a choir from scratch for one night only. Each winter and summer, Chris Rowbury gathers a random bunch of singers from in and around Ipswich. There are no auditions and all songs are taught and learnt by ear. Known for its’ varying repertoire, ranging from adaptations of classical music, jazz standards, folk and rock arrangements to dancehall and hip hop songs, the ensemble is lead by choir director and music teacher Mrs. Susanne Faatz. “JazzVocals” was founded twenty years ago and is one of Berlin’s veteran jazz/pop acappella ensembles.  

5 Soulful Ladies and 1 groovy Bass take you on an a cappella trip full of diversity from swing to R&B, from scandinavian sounds to singer/song-writer ballads, from Manhatten Transfer to POSTYR all with our own Lady Talk flavor!
