Their Stylish performances, featuring early Medieval plainchant right through to commissions of WeSt AuStralian composers, have been delighting audiences and critics alike since 1995. The Consort prides itself on unearthing lesser-known early music (such as music of De Brossard, Certon, and Clereau), showcasing larger-scale choral maSterpieces (Monteverdi's 1610 Vespers, various Bach Cantatas), and presenting high-quality interpretations of well-known classics (Pergolesi's Stabat Mater, Durufle's Requiem, Britten's Hymn to St. Cecilia, Allegri's Miserere and Tavener's Song for athene). On 24th November 2012 we brought together 98 Singers and four choral directors for our moSt ambitious project to date: a choral workshop on Thomas Tallis' monumental 40-part motet, 'Spem in Alium', composed in 1570. We rehearsed for moSt of the day in ...  Style.display='';$(this).getParent().Style.display='none';">moreStyle="display:none;">On 24th November 2012 we brought together 98 Singers and four choral directors for our moSt ambitious project to date: a choral workshop on Thomas Tallis' monumental 40-part motet, 'Spem in Alium', composed in 1570. We rehearsed for moSt of the day in two-choir sections, with our four choral directors, Scott Inglis-Kidger, Sarah Tenant-Flowers, Riccardo Bonci and Jonny Davies. After lunch we began to put the sections together. at 4pm we brought all 8 choirs together and Scott Inglis-Kidger led a moSt thrilling final performance.
