In addition to the European repertoire, we love Spanish and Hispanic Music, both in Spanish and native languages. We also perform Music for theater and research on choral theater.  

The Maestro Casanovas Chorale was founded in 1986 and is named in recognition of the Maestro Francisco Casanovas. He has given concerts in different Spanish cities and internationally. He has appeared as guest choir at the International Contest of Haban...  moreThe Maestro Casanovas Chorale was founded in 1986 and is named in recognition of the Maestro Francisco Casanovas. He has given concerts in different Spanish cities and internationally. He has appeared as guest choir at the International Contest of Habanera and Polyphony of Torrevieja. He has also performed concerts of polyphonic works of great composers from the Renaissance to the twentieth-century works. Most components of this choir are professional Musicians or young students of instrumental or vocal Music. The choir has performed concert tours in Switzerland, Italy and Cuba. Receive the following awards to date: 2 nd prize in Portugalete, 2nd prize and special prize in the contest of carols in Molina de Segura (Murcia), 2nd prize and prize for the best Nana in the contest of lullabies and carols in Rojales (Alicante ). Reading A440 choir presents choral Music with the added dimension of multi-media storytelling and the incorporation of non-choral arts supplementing our Music in our performances. We also like to enter competitions.

KSCI College Chamber choir performing at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Lee's Summit, MO. This choir of young people met for only a few hours to prepare a 1 hour concert that launched Kantorei KC's summer Youth outreach program. Directed by Chris Munce.

we sing in A cappella, we range from ages 25 to 30.. we are classically trained vocally and in composition. we perform in all kind of events such as weddings, cooperate functions, etc.

We're a choir of about 15 people, singing secular Music from all genres and from all times (from the sixteenth century onwards, that is). And provided that it's a cappella Music. Even within these limits, there's still an awful lot of pieces left ...

Our aims are to achieve high standards of singing and performance, and to contribute to our local community. Our annual programme typically includes 6-8 concerts in the Harpenden area and further afield, a cathedral tour, open singing days and the occasional recording. We rehearse on Wednesday evenings at St George’s School, Harpenden. We are known for good Music making, varied repertoire including regular commissions, excellent soloists, interesting concert venues and loyal patronage of a range of local hostelries…. We come from a wide range of Musical backgrounds and have a thriving interns scheme for talented singers from local Schools. Over our 50 year history, the Leas have sung under 11 permanent conductors and many guests, each of whom has made a distinctive contribution to our style and repertoire.
