The International Singers hold a unique status amongst Choirs in France by means of our repertoire and composition. Bringing together very nearly 40 Mixed voice singers all sharing the same passion, they hail from countries from around the world and representative of 4 continents. The repertoire consists principally of contemporary Music with anglo-saxon origins and from the very best of Musical theatre as seen in London's West End or on Broadway in New York. The International Singers are beginning to wow the people of Lille and the surrounding areas of Northern France with concerts in public venues as well as at private functions organised by civic bodies as well as associations etc. Musical Objectives The International Singers is a Choir structured around anglo-saxon values and traditions. It also aims to provide an opportunity for passionate singers to discover the voice as a singing instrument, develop high-level Musical skills related to choral singing, influence choral Music appreciation, develop cultural awareness, use choral Music as a tool for change in building a better community, and finally, to represent Eastern Visayas in both local and international choral scenes. The 35 members of Bat-Kol, ages 12 to 18, perform with the Israeli Opera, Israel Philharmonic Orchestra as well as taking part in Theater productions, television programs, national public events and concerts for the general public. The Choir has participated in numerous international festivals and competitions in which it won many gold medals. In April 2011 the Choir won three gold medals and the Grand Prix of the Slovakia Cantat international competition in which tens of European male, female and Mixed Choirs competed.  less

Music from every Music epoch will be performed from serious to more pop/contemporary a cappella forms. This ensemble is offered every fall and spring semester, and satisfies the fine arts requirement when enrolled for a minimum of three semesters.
