The group was set up to perform exciting vocal material at a variety of events, and to give men and women who love singing, the platform to get involved in a fun and sociable musical experience. The Voice Of The Town family has now grown and not only do we have our Choirs in Newcastle and Glasgow, but we now have Choirs in Edinburgh and Birmingham.

The group was set up to perform exciting vocal material at a variety of events, and to give men and women who love singing, the platform to get involved in a fun and sociable musical experience. Our aim was to capture a serious English Boys C...  moreAs part of the Vocal Art Ensemble's "Inkspell--Choral Music Inspired by Masters of Poetry" concerts in May, 2012, this piece for treble chorus and piano by Jere Hutchinson sets e.e. cummings' whimsical poem. Our aim was to capture a serious English Boys Choir poise while making the most of the poems playful spookiness, so we elicited help from the men of the chorus to try and 'frighten' the women singing.

We perform at annual shows, community events and competitions, and several members are also in quartets. TuneTown Show Chorus puts a contemporary spin on traditional barbershop singing and has won four Sweet Adelines regional chorus competitions to go on to represent a multi-state region in international contests.
