Our programme varies from stunning ma...  moreHart Voices is a mixed voice choir based in Fleet, Hampshire which achieves a high-standard of singing from a non-auditioned choir. We perform four Concerts each year across three terms running from September to July. Our programme varies from stunning major choral works to satisfying chamber music programmes and The occasional light programme of popular numbers! Singers are drawn not only from Fleet and The surrounding area, but also outlying towns including Guildford and Basingstoke. Choir membership is currently around 50 Voices, many of whom have sung with The choir for several years. The combined experience and enthusiasm enables us to explore new musical horizons - both in repertoire and venue. We aim to broaden our experience, strive for quality and musicality in our performances and involve young singers wherever possible. Ensemble Laude is a community of women united by a passion for choral music and The vision of our Artistic Director, Elizabeth MacIsaac. We celebrate The beauty and resilience of women’s vocal traditions through The ages and seek to share this art form through joyful, Soulful, and life-enhancing performances that gladden The heart, lift The spirit, and expand The mind. Ensemble Laude began in 1998 with a group of 12 singers focused solely on medieval music. It has since expanded into a vibrant community choir of over 50 vocalists. The first movement depicts The remarkable story of The captured Africans who were reduced to slaves by European settlers in The American continent, particularly in The Caribbean. The second movement recounts The indepence of Haiti; and The third movement is about The Perseverance of The country which to this day, Haiti is fighting with fury to keep its freedom. “No human being must live on Their knees; slavery in all its forms is an affront to The Divine Creator. A ladies' a capella four part harmony group we have our roots in barbershop but sing all sorts of music from old standards and barbershop classics to mega pop hits by groups like Abba and Queen. We perform sing outs for local groups in our area of Hampton in South West London, and take part in local fairs and festivals. Our weekly rehearsals on Wednesdays are a fun evening of singing, chatting and having fun togeTher. We are always open to having new members. Experience is not required, nor is The ability to read music as we have 'teach tracks' with The songs in your part on (tenor, lead, baritone or bass) and access to These are given alongside sheet music.
