Intended to chronicle the evolution of Earth's creatures, this piece shows the utter joy of a toad hopping around his kingdom on our green planet. The women dance and the men join in with percussion and 'toad calls'.

The members live at different places throughout the country. Five times a year they gather in different places in Norway to share music with each other and their audience. The singers have a true passion for singing and performing music, which captures the audience in a way that makes them feel like they take part of a musical journey that Via Vitae guides them through. The Choir shows the way through a wide repertoire of choral music, both secular and church music, rhythmical and classical music. "Tonight, Tonight" is from West Side Story with lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and music by Leonard Bernstein. It was adapted for barbershop by Jay Giallombardo and made famous by the quartet "Acoustix". Danny and I transcribed it in the fall of 2008 and it has become one of our favourite songs to sing in the quartet.
