About Me
I'm a graduate of Southwestern Oklahoma University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. I was a school band director for 4 years before being called into worship ministry. I've been a full-time Music and Worship Pastor for 30 years and have served churches in Okalhoma, Texas, and Georgia. I am also a composer, with choral anthems, songs, and orchestrations published by Shawnee Press, Lorenz, Choirsters Guild, and Lifeway. I also do self-publishing through my website, Worship Sounds.com, where we offer Dowloadable Choral Anthems, Orchestrations, Vocal Solos, Worship Songs, and Accomp. Trax. At my home church, I direct the Adult Choir and Orchestra, the Sr. Adult Choir, and the Youth Choir in addition to planning and leading worship. I also have oversight of the entire music ministry of the church, including pre-school and childrens choirs, handbells, praise team, praise band, and solo and ensemble ministry. I work with the technical teams and commitees on sound, lighting, and media. My wife and I have been married for 35 years and have 6 sons and 1 daughter.
