Mantra & Meditation Circle
Friday 24 April
1400-1530
Cafe Corbeau
Gorron
Take a moment to pause, breathe, and come home to yourself - a gathering to calm, connect, and gently reset.
Led by Ema and Peter, who sing and play harmonium and guitar, the music provides a grounding, supportive accompaniment for the group’s voices.
There’s something ancient and deeply human about gathering to sing and meditate together - the shared sound and presence helps us settle, soften, and feel a collective calm.
We begin with a short guided meditation and body scan to help you settle and feel grounded, followed by beautiful, uplifting mantras and chants from around the world. You can listen, hum, or join in when you feel comfortable. No performance, no pressure and no singing or meditation experience needed.
This practice is especially for you if:
• your mind feels busy or overwhelmed
• you’ve struggled with traditional “just sitting” meditation
• you’re looking for a simple, supportive way to relax
• you’d like to connect with others in a friendly, down-to-earth space
The repetition of the mantras gives your mind something gentle to rest on, helping to settle thoughts, soften the body, and create a sense of ease.
"The experience grounded me, lifted my heart, and settled my nervous system into a calm I could feel throughout my body. I walked around with a huge grin on my face straight after."
How We Gather Matters
Every session is designed to create a space where people can arrive, settle, and find calm together. When we’re intentional about where we place our attention, something more meaningful can unfold. We are all co-creators of this circle, and everyone’s voice and presence matter.
Every breath and every voice contributes to the experience and connection that lifts everyone. It’s not about doing it perfectly - it’s about showing up and joining together with curiosity and an open heart.
