Malta International Choir Festival
The Ministry for Tourism and the Malta Tourism Authority are pleased to announce that preparations are underway for the 23rd edition of the MALTA INTERNATIONAL CHOIR FESTIVAL that shall be held on the Mediterranean Island of Malta between 2nd and 5th November, 2017.
The Festival has now become a mainstay in the Maltese musical calendar and so it is very much anticipated by all music lovers of the genre. Suffice to say that in each of the last editions, Malta hosted 800 international choristers.
The festival has a competitive side, as well as a non-competitive programme. The Festival runs over four days strong and provides choirs with a varied programme, spread across several venues. Another important aspect of the festival is the pedagogical part which takes place in the form of workshops or masterclasses.
