Please let us introduce you Giovanni Acciai, artistic director and member of the jury
for Concorso Corale Internazionale.
Graduated in organ, composition, and choir conducting, he took his Master's degree in
Musicology at Pavia University, he teaches Performance practice and Early music semiography
at the Conservatory «Giuseppe Verdi» in Milan.
For his high-ranked international artistic achievements he was appointed honorary
member of the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA). The Foundation «Giovanni
Pierluigi da Palestrina» in Rome, appointed him as his «honorary member».
Giovanni Acciai has published numerous critical editions, articles and reviews on early music,
musicological essays, as well as recordings of unreleased works.
We are really proud that Maestro Acciai promotes us as an artistic director for years.
