Greetings!
I wanted to bring something to your attention that may be of interest to some or many vocalists out there. We just released Sight Reader v1.2 which now adds Voice as an instrument. This is exciting because now vocalists can also improve their sight singing skills in a fun and efficient way.
If you're curious, I'll explain more.
At a high level, the app works like this: you choose your instrument, you choose a category, then you choose an exercise to sight read. Some categories include Scales, Arpeggios, Intervals, Beginner Songs, Rhythm Only and others. This way you expose yourself to various kinds of reading material at will. Additionally, not all of the content works the same way. If you were to choose Scales, each time you selected Harmonic Minor, it would be the same. You can adjust the key and tempo in the settings. However if you were to choose say, a Rhythm Only exercise, you'd be presented with a new exercise every time you returned to it. This way you are not memorizing your reading material, but actually reading it.
For the non-repeating material, you can adjust the tempo, key, and length of the exercise. What's also great about Sight Reader is that after you sing the music, Sight Reader will report back to you on which notes and rests you got right and wrong. We have 3 colors that we paint the notes so that you can see how well you sang.
Red = Incorrect. Your pitch and/or rhythm were too far off to be considered correct.
Green = Correct. Your pitch and rhythm were acceptable and thus you read the note/rest correctly.
Blue = Really Good. This means not only did you read the note well, but you performed it well. You were very much in tune and very much adhering to the exact written rhythm.
We also provide a handy results screen that gives you statistical info about your performance. Plus you can listen back to your voice or the example audio of what it's supposed to sound like.
So for anyone who's interested, including students and teachers, feel free to check out the app! It's free to download and any and all input is most welcome.

Cheers!
