The 2017 Melbourne International Singers Festival was a huge success, with four fabulous days of challenging, inspiring and entertaining workshops, rehearsals and amazing concerts! We continued our tradition of supporting new Australian works with the World premiere of Andy Payne's 'Acquired Taste', Craigh Wilson's book launch of 'Intuitive', and the Australian premiere of Jonathan Dove's (UK) 'Tobias and the Angel' in collaboration with XL Arts.
We can't wait for the Melbourne International Singers Festival in 2018, which will be our 9th year! Melbourne’s most exciting festival for singers and choirs will present more stunning opportunities to work with some of the world’s finest conductors, composers, arrangers and musicians in magnificent venues in Melbourne's art precinct.
Proceeds support the School of Hard Knocks in providing arts and cultural programs to the vulnerable and marginalised in our community.
