... moreFounded in 2010 by Burak Onur Erdem, Rezonans has become one of the prominent choirs of Turkey within a few seasons. The choir performs regularly in leading choral festivals of Europe and sings under the baton of world-renowned conductors.
Rezonans performed with significant choirs of the world within 6 seasons by hosting them in Istanbul: Yale Schola Cantorum (conducted by Simon Carrington), Salt Lake Vocal Artists (conducted by Brady Allred) and Junges Vokalensemble Hannover (conducted by Klaus-Jürgen Etzold).
The choir gave concerts in prominent music festivals of Turkey like IKSV Music Festival, Bogazici University KoroFest, SANSEV Choral Festival, Çanakkale Choral Festival and Ankara Choral Festival.
Rezonans represented Turkey in the largest choral festival of Europe, Europa Cantat Festival and sang Turkish music with 5.000 participants in Hungary. The choir also was the first Turkish choir to take part in the legendary Cork International Fleischmann Trophy and won the second prize in 2016.
While planning to meet its audience in its 2016-2017 Season in Istanbul, Çanakkale and Izmir, the choir also will continue its presence in the European choral scene and attend the famous Arezzo Competition in Italy. less
